Recently I got a phone call from some guy from India, I think, in regards of my computer. He called and said he is calling in regards of my computer, when there are many computers here where I live. I have had such calls before that in one case I went along and the operator said that my windows is pirated and I am prone to a virus. I went along with the guys instruction as to allowed him in my computer to which he glitched my pc. It was behaving hiccup-e but I found a fix for it on google. He was attempting to sell me a genuine operating system but I just couldn't afford and the call ended there.

These call have come to mind because I frequently download from trackers to ask the least here what is the safest way to torrent? I have used before peer block and felt comfortable using it but now i feel its too out of date and unreliable. I am in need of suggestions.
