What is everyone using for a media server, small HT PC or something bigger? I am an IT guy and after shutting down a data center I was able to grab some gear. I have a half cab, with a dell R730xd, 2 8core processors, 200gb of ram (100gb of which I am using as a transcoding ram disc) 64tb of on board storage. I have a powered off MD1400 fully populated at 48 additional TB's. I also use the server as an NVR for my POE cameras. I use sonarr, and couchpotato to get media on a desktop machine, then it renames and moves to the server where Plex pulls it in. I have found the appleTV 4k to have the best Plex GUI.
