    Looking for VPN recommendations

    Hi

Are all VPN providers much of a muchness?

I'm looking for a VPN provider to help me bypass restrictions on viewing sites including torrent sites. Can anyone recommend any ?

    Thanks,
    J

I know most people probably hate on Surfshark but I purchased a 2 year membership from them about 6 months ago. The speeds for the most part have been pretty reliable and not too far off from what my actual network speeds are. I don't experience any disconnections while using nor long wait on connection times. For the most part I have been very happy about the services provided and would probably renew my service with them given the discount they offered on my signup.

Surely there are more popular VPN services out there that offer better speeds and reliability but is it worth the extra cost? I can't comment as I have only used one or two more popular ones and both were short periods of time and weren't used as extensively as Surfshark is now for me. I use them on both my windows and linux machines in conjunction with a private DNS provider seamlessly.

It has been compatible and easily installed on every OS that I have used, i.e. Android, Windows, and Linux. I would recommend them if you get a good deal on the price and again I use a lot of bandwidth and am connected near constantly and really have faced no issues with them. Your mileage may vary.

    Good luck and happy shopping!

I've been using AirVPN specifically when downloading torrents, because they offer port forwarding. It's been great so far, however I haven't tried anything else to compare it with. Wondering if speeds would be faster with a different VPN.

I'm personnaly using NordVPN and it's really great because you can use double vpn and vpn over tor plus they have a lot of servers in many countries.

In the past i was using HideMyass but i've stopped because they abandonned Linux systems
