How often do you restart your PC and why?

Hi everyone - since i am running my PC all the day - only starting new after days or weeks, i would like to ask the members of TI how often are you restarting your PC - and why do you do it?

Did you ever had a problem after running your PC for a "too long" time?

I am running my PC 24/7 for nearly 2 years now - i do this for encoding and for torrents. Sometimes i am a bit afraid the PC could die by this - as CPU and RAM are always nearly at maximum.
I am also browsing, playing Music, Videos, or even games - all at the same time sometimes.

I clean the PC every year with an air compressor - as i only had dead PC components that were collecting to much dust.

So i just thought i ask for your expierence - should i be aware of some signals that might show something is wrong?

    Thanks for any tips.

@patanjali - i am not sure if that should happen - as long as your laptop restarts it might be ok - but after bluescreen ... maybe it shutdown before temperature is getting to high ... i don't use laptops, but a friend and he cleans them from time to time, maybe you should try that - i know most laptop users down't do that - if you haven't tried it yet, you may want to try it for the future - it also helps to reduce noise as there always will be a lot of very fine dust collected over the time.

I never turn off my computer.
I hardly ever restart it as well.
Only time I'll restart it is if a program I decided to update or uninstall requires me to restart, which I don't do too often.
I don't feel like paying for a seedbox, so I just run my torrents on my main computer 24/7

@iamakiro - thats not good, maybe you should format your PC, and maybe clean it also - not that it dies one day, that can happen very suddenly
