How do you play HD-movies?

vlc on the computer and plex around the house

Like many, I use VLC on the computer and Plex. If it's 4K content I have to use my own computer with VLC since my plex doesn't have the processing power.

MX Player on Android Box, never tried 4k though.

I usually burn to disc dvds and BDR

VLC media player and MPC-HC.
When some formats and codecs randomly hate one, I use the other.

PC: VLC Media Player
Living Room (Home Theater): Plex on Nvidia Shield

I play everything through plex. Going to get an android box with 4k hdr capabilities soon though.

I've heard that the only good HDR Android player is the Nvidia Shield.
