    It depends. If I need subtitles I'm using Daum PotPlayer, if not I'm using Mirillis Splash Pro. Best vidéo qualité and decoder using NVIDIA. Splash pro handles very badly subtitels...

    I got a media center pc that i run XBMC. I use Openelec as the OS. I used to use all the vlc's, potplayers, mpc, etc but xbmc kills it. PLEX comes in a nice second but xbmc is the champ. the addon apps are ridiculous. you got all kindsa stuff. can stream anything.

    As far as subtitles thats all built in. a push of button on the remote and they are downloaded and running.
