get up every 20 minutes, apparently sitting is really bad for your life expectancy

Gym, easiestt way. Go 3 times a week for 45 minutes.
There are good tips here, but don't forget about the health of the eye:
Luckily we are through the CRT era. Monitors like LCDs cause a lot less eye-strain. Calibrating the color/brightness/contrast/etc. levels well helps a lot. There are good tutorials for that on the internet.
Don't stare at the monitor for hours without at least short breaks (a couple of minutes, or more if you feel you need it)!
Playing games with very fast moving colorful stuff, and/or sudden changes of brightness strains the eyes a lot more than reading/browsing web/etc.
You also need a comfortable chair, and sitting position during using PC.
Started running from today, easier said than done.
