- She browses the net most of the time. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Food recipe blogs and that stuff.
- She may watch a Youtube vid from time to time.
- She wants a big screen, minimum 10 inch or so.

For these specs, I have found "Lenovo Ideapad 100S Celeron", "Lenovo Yoga 300", "ACER A114 CELERON", "ACER S1003 ATOM" laptops feasible and good money-wise. I stumbled upon "Hometech" but haard it is shit.

As for some tablets, I found "Samsung Galaxy Tab 3" and "Samsung Galaxy Tab A6"

But I think she will prefer a laptop as its monitor is bigger and easier to navigate.

Has anyone had any experience with the above-mentioned models? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi mate I have not had hands on experience with any of the above mentioned models. Idk about price where you are, however they are one the cheaper brands to buy here. They offer a good performance to $ ratio. Personally i would stay away from the acers, they look inviting price wise but imo are setup very stupid.

I would also take into consideration how much web browsing your mum will be doing, and whether she opens a few tabs or lots. With the way the web experience is these days, computers chew through ram at crazy speeds to run our shiny web browsers. This is also dependant on any browser extensions such as (a well known memory pig) adblocker.

If you are going 2GB of memory or less i would go with a tablet 3GB plus i would say invest in a notebook/netbook. Taking all of this into account i would say go with the lenovo yoga 3(11) or the 2-in-1.
