Representatives of AMD recently said that the Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards with the RDNA3 architecture will be significantly improved in captivity of WATT efficiency and performance. It is planned to reduce energy consumption by as much as 50 percent.
The AMD Radeon RX 7000 video cards with RDNA3 architecture will be made using 5-nm technology, which in itself should lead to lower energy consumption. In addition, new graphic processors will receive a chiplet layout, that is, each GPU will consist of several smaller chips connected to each other through a quick interface.



In addition, the AMD Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards will have not only more Infinity Cache, but will also acquire a higher bandwidth. This should lead to an increase in the number of displayed personnel per second in demanding games.


By the way, AMD for the first time officially announced the RDNA4 architecture, which will be used in the next -generation video cards (Radeon RX 8000). We do not know the details yet, but the company said that an improved 5-nm lithography will be used for the design. The premiere is scheduled for 2024.
