YouTuber GlitchTutorial has discovered a way to glitch into 3rd person mode in Destiny 2, at the very beginning of the Sins of the Past raid. He explains that if the glitch is executed properly and maintained through a few tips and tricks, you could play through the entire raid in third person.

Basically, you need to activate your Stormcaller ability right before the Berserker, Kell’s Scourge disables it. You may need to practice a few times to get it right, but you should be able to replicate this effect at will, once you have it down.

According to GlitchTutorial’s description, you should keep in mind that aiming boosts your accuracy, even though you might not see the effect. Also, riding your sparrow and switching weapons is perfectly safe and will not reset the camera.

However, you should avoid activating your super, changing your subclass, leaving the raid and of course, dying. This should make for an interesting challenge for players who might want to attempt to complete the entire raid in 3rd person mode. It would certainly be a difficult endeavor to undertake, but it’s far from impossible.
