The Epic Games Store recently announced its "Connect and Save" event, which provides free $10 USD to those who sign up for its emails and wishlist alerts. The storefront has undergone a few changes as of late, primarily with the recent unveiling of the new Epic Games Store achievement system, Epic Achievements, which provides players XP that can be used to unlock certain rewards.

In an official announcement on the Epic Games website, the developer and publisher explained "Connect and Save" will allow those who join its email list and opt-in to wishlist notifications will ear a $10 USD Epic Coupon. The coupon can be applied to any order at checkout when "purchasing eligible games on the Epic Games Store." Only those who make or already have an account with the store will be able to claim the coupon, which will be provided within 24 hours after signing up for its requisite services.

The announcement also provided instructions for how to make an account with the Epic Games Store, and included information related to currency equivalents, for those who use different currencies outside of the U.S. dollar. Additionally, the list of global currencies detailed the minimum purchase to which the coupon can be applied. If used on a game that is later returned, the coupon's value will not be returned to the buyer. In a similar vein, the Epic Coupons can be used until November 15 at 11:59 Pacific Standard Time, and all unredeemed discount vouchers will expire at that time as well. This isn't the first time Epic Games has held such $10-coupon-events - the Epic Games Store saw a similar occasion last holiday season. With a relatively painless process to gain $10 toward the gaming provider service, some might see the opportunity to finally splurge on the game they've had their eye on.
