Banner Saga 3, the Kickstarted final episode of the Viking RPG trilogy, is releasing on July 24 for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch.


Six years after the Kickstarter for the original game first launched, the strategy-RPG series finally finishes as players take their armies to journey beyond the wall of Darkness. The strong narrative and character-building aspects are still in force in the third game, bringing a satisfying conclusion for fans.


A physical edition will be published for 505 Games called The Banner Saga: Bonus Edition for PS4 and Xbox One, which will include all three Banner Saga games, an art book, and a soundtrack for $39.99. You can see Stoic Games' pre-order video below.

Stoic has explained that the mobile versions will arrive at a later date.
