Gameplay for Competitive & Multiplayer games
i love fantacy world beyond graphics
My most-played game is a pixel graphics game.
Gameplay all the way.
Graphics for sure then I will go for gameplay but honestly at this point they go hand in hand. I need both.
Graphics are nice, but graphics with gameplay NEVER! Gameplay without graphics, no problem! :)
Gameplay for sure, my fav game is Half Life lol
I'm totally a gameplay person, graphics is a nice bonus to any enjoyable gameplay ;)
it's all about the gameplay!
Gameplay for sure but having nice graphics at the same time helps too :)
Game play first, but it is always good when they the 2 together
i must say, graphic is important but gameplay is the fact that you're still playing at old games :)
Gameplay only. I still play really old games from 2000.
Because of gameplay i still play the witcher 2007
Gameplay obviously... i still got my Retro emulators running :flute:
graphics have to be decent but if game play or performance sucks then you could make the most beautiful game in the world and all it would be good for is a poster.
Gameplay definitely. If a game isn't fun to play it doesn't matter how good it looks.
Gameplay 10/10. Everytime.
Um... you need both.
It may be an unpopular opinion, but I'd play games virtually devoid of any gameplay if the art is to my liking (i.e. Visual Novels), but I could never do the opposite.
When I was younger, graphics were a huge draw. I remember seeing a display in Best Buy running NBA2k (I think that was what it was called) and bought the Dreamcast on the spot. As I've gotten older though, I find that I miss the days of the old Atari 2600, etc. Looking back the games are scary looking, but it was amazing how much fun I had with them. And they were so simple, almost all of them were playable with a crappy joystick and a single button. Now in general it's so much more involved and I guess if I played games the way I used to I'd love that, but more often than not I'd rather sit down for a few minutes with something old school and simple.
I prefer graphics, I look for games with very good graphics and great gameplay but get disappointed with the gameplay most of times.
Take the TLOU and TLOU 2 for example, I played TLOU and loved the graphics but the gameplay was boring, I didn't play TLOU 2 but I saw the gameplay on youtube and got disappointed.
Naughty dog did it again, long hours of gameplay, movie alike game with a gameplay that is a disappointment.
Back to topic, I prefer graphics and will continue looking for great graphics with great gameplay games.
only gameplay
Game play foremost. I find myself playing older games more than new titles since game play is fun. Nintendo tends to have a good balance of both, and it shows with how many 3DS games I own. Buying for graphics is a joke when the game play ends up buggy as heck.
Gameplay is what matters to me. I don't care how good the graphics are if the storyline is crap.
gameplay, hands down.... considering humans have the power of imagination to compensate for graphics. I even play text-based games sometimes...:)
Totally gameplay, Nintendo is a proof of it
Gameplay should be the top priority but great graphics can add to the experience as well.
both are very important, but however the graphics are too good, it needs good gameplay, if it does'nt then the game is a flop. There are many games in the past with low graphics, which are top most played games only because of gameplay. So gameplay is must.
Gameplay, interesting story and game mechanics. Most games today lack all that and concentrate on graphics. Most mindless gamers seem to like that and don't care about about much else when playing the 50th iteration of their favorite game. Call of Duty 67 will still sell well, even though it will probably be remake of Call of Duty 15.
For sure graphics make a difference, but it's all about that gameplay nothing beats a massive imaginative and engrossing story line the graphics just support that. Will be interesting to see when VR really kicks off.
Gamplay all the way, retro classics!
Gameplay but as long as the graphics dont look like early 00's
Great graphics, lousy game play = CGI Movie
Great gameplay, lousy graphics = Quaint, niche, fun game
Not saying I've put thousands of hours into stupid text games either hahaa
Gameplay
Gameplay all the way. Graphics are the superficial bonus you can do without. Still can enjoy crappy graphic games no problem and nostalgia isn't part of it since I've never played some before.
Gameplay all day
i prefer gameplay.. because you do not want to play a crappy game with ultra-high-super graphics.. but you can tolerate the crappy graphics when the game has an influencive gameplay..
Game play all day long. remember kickoff soccer Birdseye edition
Id still play n64 if I could so def gameplay
graphics are overrated am i right
Definitely gameplay
Every time i play all of the new titles on a new computer or that year releases, i always return to the old golden games of past like dos or even Amiga titles
