Graphics can be nice but gameplay is why I'm playing anyway. Also, it holds up better over time. Some games are as good to play now as they were at the time (certainly going back to at least the early 90s) but eyecandy games end up looking pretty crap by the time the next generation rolls by (PSX and N64 anyone?). The games that still look good over time are ones that opted for a distinctive style rather than going overboard on graphics.
Gameplay > Story/Writing > Graphics
Gameplay over Graphic
Graphics Really matters
I do care about game graphics, buuuuuuuuut I think gameplay > graphics because if the gameplay sucks, well what's the point of having top notch graphics really?
It sort of ruins all the fun if game play sucks very badly.
Gameplay and Story then the graphics![]()
Good gameplay makes the world go round, but when you've also got a visually stunning game, it's just that much better. Still, if it's boring, it can be the most artistically drawn thing in the world.
Gameplay is the main point to the game. Even with a super good graphics game don't mean is a good game i.e. FFXIV online Still is a $hit game
Still think Bubble Bobble is one the best games ever. So gameplay, definitely gameplay
