There are so many game series missing that were groundbreaking in their genre (Hero's Quest, Baldur's Gate, Wing Commander/Privateer, Age of Empires, StarCraft, Sim City, ...) that an 'other' entry among the poll options or even better, a poll per game type (RPG, Space Sim, FPS, turn-based strategy, real-time strategy, adventure, ...) might be more satisfying for many members who are missing their beloved favourite among the few rather similar choices offered.
