Early reactions to Zack Snyder's Justice League have arrived. Snyder's version of the DC superhero team-up film has had a long, hard road to its release in just a few days. The director was given the keys to DC's cinematic future when he rebooted Superman in 2013's Man Of Steel. That film and its sequel, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, were critically divisive and didn't live up to Warner Bros.' expectations at the box office.
Snyder would eventually part ways with the studio during production of Justice League amid creative clashes and a family tragedy. Avengers director Joss Whedon was brought in to rewrite and reshoot much of the film, creating a much different movie than what Snyder had intended. That version of the film, released in 2017, was a box office and critical dud, arguably the DC Extended Universe's biggest failure. Spurred on by a massive fan campaign on social media, HBO Max decided to allow Snyder to finish his version of the film, which is a four hour epic that promises a decidedly different take on the DC superheroes.
With the social media embargo lifted, fan reactions to the film are starting to pour in. Check them out below.
