Darth Maul voice actor Sam Witwer teases that The Mandalorian season 2 is going to blow fans' minds. Witwer has yet to appear in a live-action Star Wars movie (besides voicing Maul in Solo: A Star Wars Story), but is still well-known within the Star Wars community. Witwer's journey with Star Wars began in 2008 when he voiced the main character in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Witwer has provided voice work on multiple characters on several animated Star Wars series, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels, in which he voiced Darth Maul.
The Mandalorian season 2 was in development before the first season even came out, showing how confident Disney was in their series. Like most Star Wars projects, the plot of season 2 is under lock and key, so details have been pretty scarce besides casting rumors. It's been reported that Rosario Dawson will play Ahsoka Tano, and Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens) will play a fellow bounty hunter who has worked with Mando in the past. While there aren't a lot of solid details on The Mandalorian season 2, Witwer promises big things are in store for fans.
When speaking with the Star Wars Holocron Blog, Witwer discussed The Mandalorian and the upcoming second season. While he didn't give any details away about the show, he mentioned that “There are things that [Dave Filoni] has coming in The Mandalorian Season 2 that are going to blow people’s minds. Because the thing is that Dave and George always had the same instinct when it came to this.”

While fans have to wait until October to get season 2 of The Mandalorian, there is currently some new Star Wars content to catch up on. The seventh and final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars still has a few episodes left, and on May 4th, Disney is releasing Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. The eight-episode documentary will give fans behind-the-scenes look at The Mandalorian, which will help fill the void a bit until season 2 arrives.
Between Ahsoka and the storyline with the Dark Saber, fans are already excited for season 2 of The Mandalorian. That being said, fans will likely be even more excited about season 2 knowing that Witwer is looking forward to the season as well. Witwer has become a well-respected actor in the Star Wars community, so people definitely pay attention to Witwer's opinions on anything, and everything Star Wars-related.
