Warner Bros. will return to the Wizarding World with Fantastic Beasts 3 when it is released on November 12, 2021. The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters in 2020, but WB delayed the movie until 2021 to give the creative team more time to perfect the film. However, now coronavirus is impacting the film as the start of production was delayed. WB has yet to announce that the delay will change Fantastic Beasts 3's release date, but that could become a possibility depending on how long they must wait for cameras to start rolling.

The wait for Avatar 2 will finally end when the film hits theaters on December 17, 2021. James Cameron has been developing the first of four sequels to Avatar for almost a decade, and the plan is for Disney to release the first installment next year. The physical productions of the films have been delayed due to coronavirus, but virtual production is continuing during this time. It would appear that Avatar 2 will not need to be delayed (again).

Originally scheduled to release in December 2020, Illumination moved Sing 2 to July 2, 2021 long before coronavirus. Now, the film has been delayed again to accommodate Minions 2's new date.

Dwayne Johnson's long-awaited DC debut as Black Adam is scheduled to happen on December 22, 2021 with the release of Black Adam. He's been attached to play the anti-hero for several years and has been gearing up for production to begin this summer. But, Johnson has expressed some worry that this might not be able to happen anymore due to coronavirus and delays to other projects he needs to finish first. So, there is a chance that Black Adam will not make this date, but hopefully it can avoid being delayed.
