Wonder Woman 1984 Spoiler Accidentally Revealed By Talk Show Host Graham Norton
Talk show host Graham Norton may have accidentally revealed a major spoiler for Wonder Woman 1984. The cast of the upcoming sequel is currently doing the press rounds ahead of the film's release on Christmas Day. Wonder Woman 1984 will be the first major blockbuster to hit theaters since September when Tenet was released. Wonder Woman 1984 will also be available to stream on HBO Max the same day for at least one month. The movie will be free for current subscribers.
Wonder Woman 1984 is premiering under a cloud of controversy. The film will be the first of Warner Bros. upcoming slate to hit theaters and HBO Max the same day, a move that has ignited the ire of the industry. Still, the controversy is unlikely to tamper excitement for the film after its long road to theaters. Director Patty Jenkins and Warner Bros. took their time to ensure they got the sequel right after the first film's massive success and if early Wonder Woman 1984 reviews are any indication, it seems they pulled it off. Still, it looks like Graham Norton may have spoiled one of the surprises the film has in store.
While interviewing Gadot on The Graham Norton Show, Norton accidentally let slip that Wonder Woman 1984 features Diana Prince's invisible jet. When Norton mentions this, Gadot, appearing virtually, shushes him. Norton looks surprised, before turning around to his co-hosts and proclaiming that they might cut that part out.
If what Norton said is true, it's just another thing to look forward to in the movie. On top of the return of Chris Pine's Steve Trevor, the sequel is already giving us Diana's suit of gold from the comics and Kristen Wiig's take on Cheetah. With the addition of the invisible jet and Diana lassoing her way through the clouds in the trailers, it seems as if this movie could have a lot of high flying action. Norton seems to be genuinely surprised in the video when he let this little tidbit slip.
Of course, it could be all planned, a carefully plotted tease to ramp up anticipation for the film. The reveal is sure to do so. Wonder Woman's invisible jet is one of the most iconic aspect of the heroine's arsenal. The chance to see her use it in Wonder Woman 1984 is an exciting one. How that will play out remains to be seen, but Jenkins has already proven herself adept at adapting some of Wonder Woman's more complicated powers for the big screen if the trailers of Diana swinging through the clouds is any indication. If the invisible jet is indeed in the movie, fans will finally get to see it on Christmas Day, when the film hits theaters and HBO Max.
