Dwayne Johnson releases a new look at Black Adam ahead of the film's panel at DC FanDome. The former WWE superstar is now one of the biggest movie stars on the planet as the lead of several different franchises. For the last decade, Johnson's been attached to play Black Adam and join the DC Extended Universe. Although the plan originally called for Black Adam to be the villain in Shazam!, the continued rise of Johnson resulted in his DC character getting a solo movie first.

Black Adam has been in development for the last few years. Jaume Collet-Serra was hired to direct the movie last year after working with Johnson on Disney's Jungle Cruise. The movie received a December 2021 release date too, and had plans to begin filming in 2020, but that was before coronavirus through a wrench in just about every Hollywood production's timetable. While the movie might be delayed a bit, Black Adam is still making major progress, and some more updates are expected to come during DC FanDome.

DC's 24-hour free online convention will hold panels for every upcoming DCEU movie in some way, and Johnson's Black Adam is scheduled to have a panel of its own. With a showman like Johnson in the lead, fans have anticipated learning much more about his solo DC movie during that time. Now in the lead up to the panel, Johnson has debuted a brand new look at the film. Some teases of the film's logo can be seen near the end, but the video below ends with some animated concept art of Johnson's super alter ego.

This isn't the first look at Black Adam that Johnson has released already, as a rendition of the character's design done by Jim Lee and BossLogic was previously released. With this second tease of how Johnson will look in the movie, fans can continue to get a better understanding of how Black Adam's costume will look in the movie. While this animated version of the art provides fans with a flashing image, it should be expected that a crystal clear HD version of the concept art will be released during Black Adam's DC FanDome panel tomorrow.

More concept art of Johnson as Black Adam isn't all that fans could get during DC FanDome though. It was already announced that Noah Centineo will play Atom Smasher in the film, so it is possible that the casting for other members of the Justice Society of America will be revealed. Depending on the timing of their deals, DC FanDome could potentially deliver concept art of the entire JSA team fighting alongside Black Adam - or against him. Thankfully, it won't be long before more Black Adam news might arrive.
