Breaking Bad is next on my stuff to watch list!

As far as Ripper Street goes, I'd be interested in watching it but I know it got cancelled so I'm a bit like eeeeh, you know? Also, if you like the IT Crowd, I think you'd be a big fan of Black Books. Just sayin'!

Yeah -it's a damm shame they are cancelling Ripper Street. Maybe with some luck - it'll find a new home apart from BBC1; like how Netflix resurrected Arrested Development; or how Fox revived Family Guy. Who knows?

But yes - I agree, books/comics tend to do a better job overall vs movie/tv counterparts (they tend to miss subtle - and sometimes BIG - details; as is the case in Game of Thrones).

However, I have to take some bragging rights - I've managed to addict some of my other friends on Game and Sherlock... hehehe; now they can't get enough; esp after the hanger on the last episode of Series 2 of Sherlock (Reichenbach Falls).

Trust me peeps - for those of you looking to find a new addiction - Sherlock (on BBC) starring Benedict Cumberbatch (aka Khan in the new Star Trek Movie) and Martin Freeman (aka Bilbo Baggins in the new Hobbit movies).

I know my dad's both a fan of Ripper Street and Games but I'm just not sure I'm ready to commit to another TV show. My life is already so very full thanks to Sherlock and the movie Pacific Rim (and then there's the artist in me screaming 'what about Disney?!' and it's all very complicated), haha.

Oh yes, I've turned my whole family onto Sherlock and a few more besides. Everyone loves it, though my dad wasn't a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes movies with RDJ and Jude Law (though I quite like them, myself. It may not be the most accurate of portrayals, but I enjoyed it for what it was - I'm still waiting for them to announce the third one!). Another good series about Sherlock Holmes is the one by the BBC (mostly known as the 'Granada' Holmes series).

Having said that, though, I'm really enjoying the Hunger Games movies more than I enjoyed the books. I read all of them and could barely put the first two down, but by the third it just seemed to lose the suspense etc, so I'm hoping they manage to pick it up some in the last movie.

Reichenbach Falls. I've seen it so many times by this point, it's actually ridiculous. Have you seen the new series?

Benedict Cumberbatch will honestly be the death of me.

Oh yeah... series 3 is good (I thought it was funnier in general than the first two series; plus the addition of all the new characters was good), still I like series 2 the best, just can't get enough of that whole Holmes vs Moriarty thing; and dude who plays Moriarty is sick.

Pacific Rim, huh? You mean 'live action' Evangellion? hehehe.

Andrew Scott is pretty flawless, it can't be denied. I loved Sherlock this time around - see, I'm a writer, and I often write Sherlock stuff so I love getting inside his head and figuring things out. I'm a huge fan of the new series, honestly, but I could be biased due to waiting a frankly ridiculously long waiting time in between seasons. Two years and a half, tho.

See, I haven't seen Evangellion and honestly aliens and robots? Yeah, not my favourite genre of movie AT ALL, which is why I was so shocked I loved it so much. I think it's mostly due to the scientists, though, ngl. Burn Gorman and Charlie Day just have such amazing chemistry, man!
