Hanna has been renewed for season 3 at Amazon. Created by David Farr (The Night Manager), Hanna premiered on Amazon Prime in March 2019 and quickly became a must-watch in the thriller genre. Starring Esme Creed-Miles, the series follows Hanna, a young woman who is a skilled hunter and killer following her childhood years of being raised in the forest. After venturing away from home, Hanna becomes entangled in a pursuit to discover who she is while fending off a sinister government agency. Based on the 2011 film of the same name, Hanna has doled out two action-packed seasons. Now, it appears more adventures are on the horizon for Hanna.

Amazon revealed Hanna has been renewed for season 3. The news of the third installment of Hanna arrives less than two weeks after season 2 premiered on Amazon. Also starring Mireille Enos (World War Z), Yasmin Monet Prince, Dermot Mulroney, Anthony Welsh, and Joel Kinnaman, Hanna has been a strong performer for Amazon, according to the streaming service. Farr announced he will continue to helm the coming-of-age thriller and revealed, “When we set out on this journey, I had in my mind a drama that would excavate Hanna’s past, challenge her in entirely new ways and answer the question, can she ever belong?”

Amazon continues to bolster its slate of original content with anthology series Modern Love renewed for a sophomore season, The Boys season 2 arriving soon, and Upload renewed for season 2. As of this writing, season 3 for Hanna has not set a release date, but production could start sometime in 2021. Toting a talent cast, spellbinding moments, and high-class thrills, Hanna season 3 is expected to be an exciting third act and could be another winner for Amazon.
