Paramount will release all of the Indiana Jones movies on 4k Ultra HD Digital Blu-Ray for the first time in the franchise's history. The Indiana Jones saga follows archeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones as he's hired by the American government to save the world. The franchise spans four movies, including Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), prequel The Temple of Doom (1984), The Last Crusade (1989) and a fourth film titled, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). A fifth untitled film is set to release in 2022. Steven Spielberg directed the first four movies but stepped away from the franchise in 2020. James Mangold has stepped up to the plate and will direct the fifth movie.
ScreenCrush confirmed that Paramount has remastered the entire Indiana Jones series for 4k Ultra HD. This was done by taking 4k scans of the original films' negatives and editing in visual effects. The ambitious project was approved by Spielberg himself. All four movies will be sold together in a boxset. Fans can pick up their own copies starting June 8, 2021.

Viewers will get a glimpse behind the scenes at almost every tech aspect including lighting, sounds, music, costumes, props, special effects, stunts and locations. Additionally, there will be "the making of" segments for all four of the films. This will be a boxset that diehard Indiana Jones fans can't afford to miss.
