Mission: Impossible 6 now has a proper title in the form of Mission: Impossible – Fallout, along with an official synopsis and a first look image that shows Tom Cruise performing (what else) a life-threatening aerial stunt. Leaked photos from the movie’s set have shown Cruise performing the expected variety of life-threatening acts, including a building-hopping maneuver that resulted in the actor injuring his leg and production on the film being temporarily halted. However, this is the first actual still from Fallout that shows Cruise performing a move that could perhaps best be summarized as, well, “helicopter surfing”.

That stunt is as dangerous looking as it sounds, but it’s par for the course for Cruise at this stage in his career. Fallout is being written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who previously had Cruise hang on the outside of an airplane in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (which he also wrote and directed), so it’s only natural that the pair would try and find a way to top themselves with their latest collaboration. Perhaps more excitingly, Fallout will formally unveil the glorious Henry Cavill mustache that caused so many headaches for the Justice League reshoots last year.

Both Tom Cruise and Paramount Pictures have confirmed that the official title for the sixth Mission: Impossible film is Fallout, while also revealing the plot summary and first look image for the movie. You can read the synopsis below, followed by the first screenshot and a photo of the movie’s logo that Cruise posted to his verified Instagram account:

The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.
