Lisa Armstrong has backed claims she'll "come out on top of this s**t storm" after divorcing Ant McPartlin over his adultery.

The make-up artist made her feelings crystal clear by liking a series of fan tweet yesterday, who praised her strength after her 11-year marriage officially ended.

One said: "Just a message to let @lisaAmakeup know she is a strong bad-ass woman who I know will come out on top of this s**t storm she's been going through. Mad respect for her!"

Lisa, 41, was bombarded with support yesterday after she appeared on BBC's It Takes Two just hours after her quickie divorce.

In her role as the head make up artist on Strictly Come Dancing, Lisa showed off her ring free hand as she perfected a look on a model.

She has stood strong following a turbulant year in her personal life.

Ant and Lisa - who met at a Newcastle roadshow in 1990 - confirmed their break-up in January after being married for 11 years, and together for 24 years.

The 41-year-old had stuck by TV presenter Ant's prescription drug battle last year.

Two months after their split he was convicted of drink-driving after being involved in a car crash while travelling with his mum.

After temporarily quitting his TV roles Saturday Night Takeaway and I'm a Celebrity, Ant has spent the summer in recovery.

During this time he went public with his new girlfriend Anne-Marie, 42 - the couple's former PA.

Sources told The Sun he admitted adultery on the grounds that his relationship with began with her after the break-up.
