EASTENDERS fans fear Lisa Fowler is dead after her daughter Louise Mitchell made a shock discovery during tonight's episode.

The teen - played by Tilly Keeper - returned home upset after being ditched by Keanu Taylor following their tryst in the garage in last night's episode.

Deciding to call her mum - who doesn't live in Albert Square - Louise looked shocked and confused as she asked: "Where's my mum?" before covering her mouth and crying as the person at the other end of the phone explained.

Louise then tried to find her dad Phil before calling on Lisa's best friend, Mel Owen, hoping to be comforted after he shock news.

However, Mel wasn't in, and a tearful Louise had to settle for Mel's twisted fiance Ray Kelly, who managed to make the impressionable teen think he fancied her before sending her on her way.

Viewers quickly took to Twitter to share their fears that something terrible had happened to Lisa - played by Lucy Benjamin.

One wrote: "Louise called her mum and got so upset, what's up with Lisa?"

Another added: "What has happened to Lisa ? Is she dead? #EastEnders" while a third shared: "Has anything happened to Lisa? Louise must be crying because of that! #EastEnders."

A fourth shared the same thoughts, tweeting: "#Eastenders what has happened to Lisa?"

Lisa last appeared on screen last year, in a storyline which showed her battling with her mental health and not taking her medication.
