Even NBA star LeBron James said he was blown away and wants to talk to the actor more about his craft.

Jim Carrey has always been full of surprises.
The actor has been a household name for more than two decades thanks to his larger-than-life characters. However, the 55-year-old has another exceptional talent — he paints.
That may not be news to some, but it seems from the reaction on social media about a recent mini documentary Carrey made about his paintings, there are a lot of people who had no clue. And they are blown away by his talent.
About two weeks ago, Carrey participated in the mini doc I Needed Color, which runs just over six minutes and shows the actor working on various projects in his studio space in New York City. The video, posted to Vimeo, is directed and produced by David Bushell.
“I like the independence of it. I love the freedom of it,” Carrey says in the video. “No one else tells you what you can or can’t do, most of the time. And there’s an immediacy to it.”
The video has gotten a lot of attention since it first posted (it's racked up 1.5 million views so far), but it exploded in popularity even more on Monday when NBA superstar LeBron James shared it on Twitter and said he wanted to meet with Carrey to talk about his art.
"This is incredible!! I had no idea either. Unbelievable work @JimCarrey! Would love to see some of your work in person some day! Love art," James tweeted.
Carrey explains in the video that when he began "really" painting, he became "obsessed."
