WandaVision may feature Scarlet Witch and Vision's twin baby boys conceived with the help of Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). The Marvel Cinematic Universe expands with the upcoming release of their own TV series exclusively on Disney+, including the Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany-led show. Confirmed at this year's San Diego Comic Con by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, the show will will also star Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as grown-up Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo and Katherine Hahn in a yet to be disclosed role. Meanwhile, Jack Schaeffer will serve as its show runner.
Plot details for WandaVision are still being tightly kept under wraps, with Olsen supposedly not allowed to announce when filming will begin. However, it's confirmed that its events will take place after Avengers: Endgame and will directly link to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. The show will take on a sitcom approach, but progresses to a more familiar format that the MCU is known with their big screen offerings.
In Marvel's Expanding the Universe special now available to stream on Disney+, a pivotal plot detail for WandaVision may have been revealed. During show supervising producer's Mary Livanos commentary, several pieces of comic books headlined by the heroes can be seen in the background, including a page is from The Vision and the Scarlet Witch #4 (1986) where Doctor Strange is holding an infant. Fans took this as an indication that the couple's twins from print will eventually make their MCU debut via the upcoming show.

Obviously, this doesn't confirm this particular subplot for WandaVision. However, considering what's known about the show thus far, it's not difficult to imagine that Marvel Studios is trying to adapt some sort of version of this on the small screen. Assuming that they indeed tackle this story in the series, it's curious how much its events bleed into the larger MCU, considering that the shows are supposedly interconnected with their movie counterparts. In the comics, the arrival of the twins kicked off a series of universe-shaking events that factored in the succeeding narrative for years. Whether or not this will also be the case in the MCU remains to be seen.
Since WandaVision won't release on Disney+ until spring of 2021, it's safe to say that fans will have to wait for more story details for the show. In any case, between the teases from the people involved and these speculations, the series is shaping up to be one of the more interesting releases from Marvel Studios for its Phase 4. And of course, before any of this pans out, it's important to remember that Vision is still technically dead, which begs the question about how he can partake in the show.
