At the moment, Disney has several movies on the way - animated and live-action - that will be released over the course of next few years. In recent years, they've seen considerable success with their live-action remakes, such as Beauty and the Beast, as well as animated properties, like Moana, and they're continuing to push the envelope into the 2020s with Encanto and Cruella.
While Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe are a big piece of the Disney pie, the company still has plenty of upcoming movies that fall under the brand of family-friendly fairytales and adventures and, with the acquisition of 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios), Disney has a lot more psychological thrillers and horrors on its plate as well. Here's a rundown of every upcoming non-Marvel/Star Wars Disney movie releasing from 2021 through to 2025.
The Woman In The Window - May 14, 2021

After Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, the studio inherited the Amy Adams-starring film The Woman in the Window. The film was originally set for a 2020 release, but the pandemic, which caused theaters to close and hundreds of productions to shut down, delayed the film. Foregoing on a traditional theater release, The Woman in the Window will now be released on Netflix on May 14, 2021.
Free Guy - May 21, 2021

Another leftover film from 20th Century Fox (now 20th Century Studios), Free Guy is a sci-fi comedy written by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn. Directed by Shawn Levy, the film stars Ryan Reynolds and Killing Eve's Jodie Comer. Free Guy is about an open world video game where Reynolds' Guy is a bank teller who becomes aware that he is, in fact, a video game character and not a real person. The film will be released in theater May 21, 2021.
Cruella - May 28, 2021

Similar to Maleficent, Cruella de Vil is getting some live-action focus in a film starring Emma Stone in the titular role. The film will tell the story of Cruella before she became a dog skin-obsessed woman and what turned her into the criminal fans know from One Hundred and One Dalmatians and the live-action 101 Dalmatians starring Glenn Close. The film was originally slated for a theatrical release in December 2020, but will now release in theaters May 28.
Luca - June 18, 2021

Pixar Animation Studios is back with an all-new animation about Luca, a young boy living on the Italian Riviera who thinks he's human — that is, until he discovers he's actually a sea creature who can transform into human form when on land. The film stars Jacob Tremblay as Luca, Jack Dylan Grazer, Emma Berman, Marco Barricelli, and Maya Rudolph.
