A new trailer for the DC FanDome Event teases exclusive reveals from some of the biggest upcoming movies from the DCEU, including the Snyder Cut of Justice League. The event is set to take place on August 22 and, like this year's San Diego Comic-con@Home, will be a virtual event streamed live for free. It will take place over 24 hours, and previous reports have mentioned a host of DCEU movies will be on show during the event.

Those movies include the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984, which was due to be released in July but was delayed twice due to the coronavirus pandemic, and will now hit theaters in October. James Gunn has also confirmed that the first footage from The Suicide Squad will be released at FanDome, with the cast in attendance, while Zack Snyder has confirmed that he'll make an appearance to promote his cut of Justice League. The event is also set to be a showcase for DC comics, as well as new video games featuring DC characters, like the latest Batman game.

Now, DC has released a short teaser trailer for the FanDome event, which hints that not only can fans look forward to 24 hours of free DC content, but also promises exclusive reveals too. The trailer, which is accompanied by the strains of the classic John Williams Superman theme, calls FanDome the event experience that fans have been waiting for. It also claims that DC's "biggest names" will appear, hinting that those exclusive reveals will come from their biggest upcoming releases. There is also a short glimpse of previously released footage of Darkseid from the Snyder Cut of Justice League, hinting that there will at least be some new footage from the movie. You can watch the trailer below.

The video also seems to hint that the virtual event will take place in an actual FanDome, albeit a CGI one, with participants presenting from a virtual stage. This will be a change from recent virtual cons, such as comic-con and JusticeCon, which presented their panels in the simple Zoom call format. Whether this is just a gimmick used to promote the event, though, is entirely possible.

Given that all of the major players from the DCEU's next few releases have confirmed they'll be appearing at FanDome, the event should be an exciting one for viewers. After the relative failure of this year's virtual Comic-con, which had very little in the way of exclusive reveals, fans will be hoping that FanDome at least lives up to the promise of this trailer.

Expect to see not only footage from The Suicide Squad, as promised by James Gunn, but also a trailer for the Snyder Cut, and potentially even a first-look at The Batman. There may also be reveals from The Flash, Black Adam the sequels to Aquaman and Shazam! For fans of the DCEU, FanDome is shaping up to be a must-watch.
