    Jennifer Morrison – Winona Kirk

    Pssh, no doubt you recognize Jennifer Morrison as Dr. Allison Cameron from House and Emma Swan in Once Upon a Time. In 2009, she played Winona Kirk, the mother of James T. Kirk, in Star Trek.


    Rachel Nichols – Gaila

    While at Columbia University, Rachel Nichols first began modeling and by the 2000’s, she moved onto acting in film and TV. With roles in Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, Alias, The Amityville Horror, Criminal Minds, Nichols is doing well for herself. When she was cast in Star Trek, her role was kept a secret – but we know now she played an Orion cadet at Starfleet Academy.


    Freda Foh Shen – Kelvin Helmsman

    Theatre, film, and television actress Freda Foh Shen is up next. Shen appeared in Dude, Where’s My Car?, was the voice of Fa Li in Mulan, and she was Kelvin Helmsman in the 2009 reboot Star Trek.


    Susan Oliver – Vina

    Susan Oliver was an actress, television director, and aviator who appeared as Vina in three episodes of Star Trek from 1966-1986. Sadly she passed away from lung cancer in 1990 at 58 years of age.


    Joan Collins – Edith Keeler

    English actress, author, and columnist Joan Collins really needs no introduction. Since she began acting in 1951, Collins has established herself as Hollywood royalty. Collins appeared in the original Star Trek as Edith Keeler in the episode “The City on the Edge of Forever”.

    Kellie Waymire – Crewman Elizabeth Cutler

    1994 is when Kellie Waymire began her acting career, on the soap opera One Life to Live. From there, she appeared in various primetime TV shows such as The Practice, Judging Amy, The X-Files, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Yes Dear. One of Waymire’s highest-profile role was on Star Trek: Enterprise as Crewman Elizabeth Cutler. Although she had previously appeared as “Lanya” in Star Trek: Voyager in the episode titled “Muse”. Sadly in 2003, at age 36, Waymire passed away due to cardiac arrest.


    Abby Brammell – Persis

    38 year old Abby Brammell has had recurring roles on shows such as Six Feet Under, The Shield, Push, Nevada, and Star Trek: Enterprise. One of her most known roles was alongside Ashton Kutcher in the 2013 film Jobs, Brammell played Steve Job’s wife.


    Molly Brink – Lieutenant Talas

    Granted Molly Brink’s acting career is rather limited. Brink has appeared in Star Trek: Enterprise, Hairshirt, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.


    Ada Maris – Captain Erika Hernandez

    Mexican-American actress Ada Maris is best known for her starring roles in the TV series Nurses and The Brothers Garcia. In 2004, she appeared in three episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise as Captain Erika Hernandez. Moreover, since 1988, Maris has been hitched to fellow actor Tony Plana.


    Golden Brooks – Alicia Travers

    Golden Brooks started her acting career with a starring role in the comedy series, Linc’s. Most noteworthy is that from 2000 to 2008, Brooks starred in the comedy series Girlfriends as Maya Wilkes – a role for which she received ~two~ NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series nominations.

    Melinda Clarke – Sarin

    Most of us probably recognize Melinda Clarke as Faith Taylor from Days of Our Lives, the manipulative Julie Cooper on The O.C., and as the professional dominatrix Lady Heather from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2001, she appeared as Sarin in Star Trek: Enterprise. Clarke’s most recent roles were on The Vampire Diaries, Nikita, Vegas, and Gotham.


    Cathy DeBuono – M’Pella

    Firstly Cathy DeBuono was a pretty successful volleyball player – even earning two gold medals at the 1991 United States Olympic Festival. However after a knee injury, she turned her sights to acting. In the last three seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, she starred as M’Pella. DeBuono has had her own radio talk show since 2011, on LA Talk radio.


    Joanna Cassidy – T’Les

    Golden Globe Award winner Joanna Cassidy appeared in two episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise as T’Les. The 72 year old actress began her career in 1965 and is still acting to this day.


    Angela Dohrmann – Ricky

    In the early 90’s, Angela Dohrmann began her career as a VJ for the Canadian music video channel, MuchMusic. From there, she started her acting career, appearing in Seinfeld, Star Trek: Voyager, The Drew Carey Show, and Nash Bridges. Currently Dohrmann teaches a comedy course at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania.


    Bahni Turpin – Ensign Swinn

    Michigan born and bred, Bahni Turpin has appeared in Crossroads, Malcolm X, and Cold Case. Along with two episodes in 1996 on Star Trek: Voyager as Ensign Swinn.

    Barbara Babcock – Beta 5 Computer

    80 year old Barbara Babcock will always be Grace Gardner on Hill Street Blues (for which she won an Emmy), and also her role as Dorothy Jennings on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (she was nominated for an Emmy for this role). When she got her start in television in 1956, she appeared in various Star Trek episodes. However she retired in 2004.
