Netflix releases the full To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You trailer, recapping what happened in the first movie and introducing a new character. When the first film, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, hit Netflix in 2018, it quickly became a huge hit for the streaming service. Not only were the To All the Boys I've Loved Before reviews largely positive, it became a social media sensation, as fans gushed about the on-screen relationship between Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo). Now, Lara Jean and Peter K. return for the sequel, based on Jenny Han's second novel in this series, P.S. I Still Love You.

In To All the Boys I've Loved Before, Lara Jean's little sister Kitty (Anna Cathcart) sent out Lara Jean's love letters- which were never meant to see the light of day - to her various crushes over the years. In the chaos, Lara Jean and Peter started fake dating to make his ex-girlfriend jealous and to hide the fact that Lara Jean was actually crushing on her older sister Margot's (Janel Parrish) ex-boyfriend. However, they developed real feelings and eventually decided to stop fake-dating and date for real. Then, the To All the Boys I've Loved Before mid-credits scene introduced another recipient of one of Lara Jean's love letters. Now, the sequel will officially introduce John Ambrose McClaren (Jordan Fisher).

Netflix released the new To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You trailer with just a few weeks until the movie officially premieres on the streaming service. In the trailer, Kitty recaps what happened in the first movie, then it transitions to establishing the story of the sequel. The P.S. I Still Love You trailer also further introduces viewers to John Ambrose, who Lara Jean met in Model UN, and the pair reconnect thanks to Lara Jean's love letter. Stormy (Holland Taylor) also makes her debut in the trailer, as a friend and confidante to Lara Jean. Watch the To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You trailer below.

Considering To All the Boys I've Loved Before was such a huge hit for Netflix, it's no surprise they moved forward with a sequel. What remains to be seen however, is whether it can live up to the success of the first movie. P.S. I Still Love You features a different director at the helm, Michael Fimognari, who served as the cinematographer on To All the Boys. Meanwhile, the first film's screenwriter Sofia Alvarez did return to pen the script, though she's joined by J. Mills Goodloe (The Mountain Between Us). With a different creative at the helm, it's unclear if P.S. I Still Love You will continue the success of To All the Boys.

That said, the trailer for P.S. I Still Love You certainly seems to capture all the teen rom-com vibes that helped make its predecessor such a mega hit. And with To All the Boys 3 already in production, having filmed back-to-back with the sequel, fans can rest assured they'll be able to see the final chapter of Lara Jean and Peter K's love story. While it's unclear when the movie based on Han's third novel, Always and Forever Lara Jean, will release on Netflix, fans have plenty to look forward with To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You hitting the streaming service just in time for Valentine's Day.
