Introduction

The Shinning is a private BitTorrent Tracker for german dubbed/subbed Movies/TV-Shows, but most of the scene releases or internal encodes have the original audio as well. The Shinning started in 2010 and also has general content (Music, Games, eBooks etc).


Community

The TsH Forums are not used that much, there are no stats saying how many users are registered, but you can find around 31,000 torrents, and most of them are seeded with good speed.


Freeleech Torrents

TsH has some Freeleech torrents, but they are rare, also most of the freeleech torrents belong into the categorie 'unwanted' or 'unneeded', so it is not easy to improve the ratio with the freeleech torrents


Bonus Points

TsH has a bonus point system, the points can be traded for upload credits or invites. 1,6 bonus points are given per hour for seeding (no matter how many torrents), but its also possible to get more points by uploading with certain upload speeds, max. 3.6 additional points per hour are given for seeders with more then 700 kbytes/s upload, less points for slower speeds


Maintaining Ratio

With some freeleech torrents and upload credits, it's relative easy to maintain a good ratio, but leechers are rare, seeding a lot of torrents is mandatory to get some upload, best to go for the 'good' new torrents and not the old torrents, as it can be hard to find any leechers even over a longer time.


Interface/Design

Thhe Interface is easy to handle, but there isn't an english interface, most parts can be translated with an instant translator, the design looks simple and dark.
