Description

BTN is the best gazelle-based, ratio free general TV tracker. Uploads of single episodes from ongoing seasons and packs of completed seasons are welcome. Made for TV movies and movies that are related to TV shows (such as Serenity) are also allowed. Some web series are allowed (such as ones from Netflix and Amazon).

Some Important Rules:
Seed time: Single episodes must be seeded for 24 hours or to a 1:1 ratio, packs must be seeded for 120 hours or to a 1:1 ratio.
-Seedtime does not count until a torrent is fully downloaded (so don’t download part of a pack).
-Seedtime is not required if less than 10% is the torrent is downloaded (if you get close to 10% check your torrent history and look at the Seedtime Left column to make sure it is safe to remove the torrent).

If you fail to meet the minimum seeding requirements you will receive a hit and run 2 weeks after you stop the torrent. If that happens you will stop earning bonus points. If you get too many you will receive a warning and your account will be disabled if you do not correct them. You can always just go re-download the files again to finish seeding them.
If it looks like you will receive multiple hit and runs you should send a staff PM to let them know. As long as they know you’re working on them they will typically grant you more time to correct them.

Inactivity:
You must visit the site at least once every 90 days to keep your account active, seeding/leeching does not count.

VPNs/proxies/etc:
The site itself should only be accessed through residential IPs, ideally from your home IP. If you have been an active member for several months and have a VPN with a dedicated IP you can send a staff PM to request permission to use it to access the site.
This does not apply to seeding/leeching torrents. VPNs, seedboxes, etc. are fine for those and no permission is needed. Unless your ISP is completely evil that’s all that matters anyway.

If your account was disabled:
If your account has been disabled, you can talk to the staff on IRC and ask to get it back. Whether or not they re-enable your account depends quite a bit on the number of times you’ve been warned or disabled in the past and how active you were on the site. If you never used your account you probably won’t get the account back, but it’s worth a try.

- Accounts that have been inactive for a year or more will no longer be re-enabled.

- Anyone who wants to get their account re-enabled should look for their original invite email to get the BTN nick of their inviter before visiting the disabled channel. If they don't have the email they should check their PMs and ask their inviter for their BTN nick.

BTN accounts are not pruned. If you ever had an account then it still exists. Any attempt to create an additional account will result in a permanent ban on both accounts and could get your inviter in serious trouble as well.
