20th Birthday *​​*****​**​*​******** *​​******* PolishTracker! Yes, it's been 20 years since PT was founded.

Two decades ago, a few kids fascinated by Bittorrent technology and file sharing had the ambition to create the first private tracker in Poland, which would match the quality of the best in the world. Throughout this period, we had our ups and downs, there were moments of stagnation, and also those in which we were the fastest tracker in the world in terms of the speed of uploading stage releases or Polish premieres.
We can definitely say that PT is currently in phenomenal shape. We owe this to the wonderful people who make up our community, especially the uploaders, on whose shoulders we all stand. It is thanks to their passion and the time they devote that we have something to download, watch, listen to, play or read. Thanks to their efforts and attention to detail, the quality of the uploads on PT is so high. They are the foundation of PT, which is why the entire crew thanks them for what they do for our community. If you would also like to write a few words of gratitude, we strongly encourage you to do so in the comments to this news, they will certainly be happy because after all, they are doing it for you, not for themselves.

Thanks also to our crew. We have a very good and well-coordinated team. Thanks to Anirion1, erbzoom, firestarter, KoKoo, Natka, PanDa. Much of their work is not publicly visible, but people using the helpdesk or our support channel on IRC have certainly had contact with them. Special thanks go to Natka, our only female crew member. Although we don't always agree on which path to take right away (as is the case in family), the ultimate goal is always the good of our community. Due to this special occasion, we have unblocked invitations. Please invite only people you know in real life, because you invite them at your own risk. If you are not sure whether someone qualifies for an invitation, think about whether you would leave a person close to you in the care of this person, if the answer is yes, then it is definitely a good choice. People you only know from various forums, Facebook, etc. do not qualify for an invitation. There are people who are just waiting for such an opportunity, impersonating other people, just to get an invitation and then sell it to the first person who comes along, which poses a threat to the security of our community. This has happened to members of our community many times. When sending an invitation request, please include information about the Internet service provider (ISP) that the invited person will mainly use. The person inviting is responsible for explaining the general rules of PT to the invited person and providing the information below. Invited people will have file downloads disabled until they set up two-step authentication for their account. They will not be able to disable it for the first year on PT. They also cannot use VPN, TOR, proxies, servers, etc. to log in and browse PT for the first 6 months.

The birthday lottery is back after 2 years! A special subpage has been made available, where everyone can try their luck. Each of you will receive one ticket, which will entitle you to participate in the prize draw. Users who donate to the site will be able to increase the number of tickets (and thus the number of prizes). Every 10 PLN of donation (made between October 30, 00:00 - November 7, 23:59) is an additional special ticket. Users with special tickets will draw from a special prize pool. Tickets can be used until November 7, 23:59.
