I think it's hard to expect people to donate when the site itself is still broken. Last I checked, links over a certain size just don't work, not sure what other issues there are but that right there is killer for me and they never seem to have gotten it straightened out.

Honestly its good days have long passed.
Constant site issues, drama, mods with egos.
I was a user in good standing and excellent ratio, and I just stopped visiting SCC period, and let my account go.
Just didn't have a need for it anymore.
Didn't want to unrar shows and movies(even though I had it automated), and on the warez side, there's nothing out there I want anymore.

I guess they should have put less money in their own pockets.

they should have lifted the contry bans, and let hundrets or thousands of potential donors in, maybe they would have raised enough green, to sustain them for few months at least.
