For transparency:
APL is down and will hopefully be up soon. It's rarely down for more than 3 days but not much can be done about it. The reason it's taking so long is because of a lovely key sysop who has sole access to all this being afk for months with extremely limited internet access and next to zero communication with other staff.
He should be returning soon, in which hopefully big changes will happen, starting with transferring many of his permissions and responsibilities which he clearly isn't suited for.
The 'big things' are no lie, staff have lots of things lined up, just can't be pushed onto the tracker because this sysop who has sole access to that ability, dipped out to who knows where with no communication.
Staff are just as fed up, and the moment he returns, changes are happening.
If you'd like more communication I can understand, it just 99% of the time boils down to little more than 'the site hiccuped and we can't do much about it because of this afk staff, and we're just as irritated'
Let's hope that it will be up soon...
