Finally remembered my proton email's password that I used just for this site,confirmed that I joined in January 2017 so hopefully it all works out.

If you don't have anything of such things left in your hand, it's not you a member of its community anymore, and there is nothing left for everyone to do in case of something happening. All you can do is to start from the beginning as a new applicant.

Why would anybody keep an email invitation or a screenshot. Seems unrealistic. There has to be a better way. Like others here, I continue to keep Apollo torrents active on my client.

If you joined before june 2017 you will receive an invite in the email that was linked to your apollo account at the time. If you joined after june 2017 you'll have to show something as proof of membership. screenshots, invite email screenshot, torrents (passkeys)...etc

Will this time prevented the work of thousands of people from being destroyed in one night by a single flipped out man?

Orpheus appears to be up. I have forgotten my changed passcode for Apollo and have two shots left before I am banned for 6 hours. TRhe 'forgot password' link to my email goes nowhere. Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you join before June 2017? If not you’ll need to use the recovery page which is quite backlogged atm.

As said on its homepage, you can't login using your old username and password. Password recovery for old account won't work either because you have not registered your account on its new database.

As I understand:
It requires you to go through account recovery (with proofs) in order to get an invite, you will have a new account. Your details of old membership (as much as you have) used for that kind of recovery, nothing than to prove your membership before mid June 2017. In other words, that's one way you can create a completely new account.

It also accepts proofs of membership after the date of its backup (which are not in its current database) hence no warranty you will get an invite, but worth trying.

There is also another way which is a bit like recruitment from other trackers.

Every account will be a completely new account.
