Should single episode uploads be disallowed?


Jhonny is considering making a new rule that makes it so individual or single episode uploads will no longer be allowed to be uploaded.

This means that when a season is still being released or aired, no episodes of it will be allowed to be uploaded until the entire season is done being aired, and it can be uploaded as a complete season. So unless you have the entire season, you cant upload it.

If you are okay with this, then vote Yes in the poll.
If you like to get or give episodes as they are being aired, and not have to wait until the entire season is done to get your episodes, then vote No in the poll.

This is about how the rule will be worded if it gets implemented, and added to the upload rules. The formatting and how it appears on the page will probably be different, but it will include this same information.

Individual episode uploads are not allowed. If a series season is currently being released/aired and is not finished, you will have to wait until it's finished to upload the complete season as a single torrent.

Exceptions to this rule include these.

1. Specials or old series episodes that are rare and or incomplete, and getting the entire season or more than an episode or two is not possible.

2. Only one episode was ever made.

3. It was a special or something that edited, spliced, and combined multiple episodes into one longer edited episode.


NOTE: Packing only part of a season to avoid your upload being only one episode is not allowed. The entire season must be included.

Exceptions to this rule include these.

1. A series is finished, but not every episode of a season was released or it was cancelled part way through.

2. Only a select amount of episodes were released on DVD/Blu-Ray, and you are unable to get the entire season using those sources.

3. It is old series episodes that are rare and or incomplete, and getting the entire season is not possible.
