TNT was the first to report that the 29 years Disney actor, lee Thompson is dead. Around 11.40 am the PST Publicist of Lee affirmed of the news that the actor has taken his own life in L.A. He succumbed to death with self inflicted gunshot wound.

The PST Young Publicist published a statement to TMZ saying that “it is a great sorrow that the actor has taken his own life in the morning. It is a tragic that such a young and brilliant actor is no more. He was an amazing gentleman with a pure soul. Lee will be genuinely missed by everyone.”

Lee Thompson made his name from the Disney channel show “The Famous Jett Jackson”. He played the protagonist character of Jett Jackson in the series where he was portrayed as an actor who is struggling to lead a normal life whilst his increasing fame and name.

Since the year 2012, Lee Thompson Young had been playing the role of the famous Detective Barry Frost on the popular and hit TNT epic drama of “Rizzoli & Isles”. His role as the detective in the show was highly appreciated and the audience simply loved his performances.

When the actor didn’t show up in the sets of the “Rizzoli & Isles” this morning, the production staffs called his landlord who found Young dead in his apartment. The executive producer, writer and creator of the show, Janet Tamarao tweeted, “Lee Thompson Young was such a bright, talented young soul. We are all speechless over this profound loss.”

Janet Tamaro has published an official statement about the devastating loss in partnership with Warner Brothers and TNT. His statement reads, “Everyone at the Rizzoli & Isles set is devastated with the news of Lee’s death. We are heartbroken and traumatized with the passing away of an intelligent, gentle, good-hearted and sweet man. He was the member of our family and will be always remembered for his on and off screen positive energy, killing smile and grace. We have our deepest condolences for his family and friends and most importantly to his mother.”
