New Year's Day Activities

Breed Conservation Team & Release Team Recruitment
Many users have reported that the site has a small number of seed savers and the seed download speed is slow. In fact, this is an expected phenomenon for seals that have strict seed file requirements and do not have official breeds. But this is not what we like to see. We still hope that everyone can have a smooth enough downloading experience in Seal, so we have been thinking of ways to solve this problem.

Some people suggest relaxing seed file structure requirements to make it easier for seeding tools to assist seeding. But this goes against our original intention. We have a very complete set of evaluation standards for seed quality. We want to recommend the best seeds to you, and it is better to have less than too much.

Some people also suggest adding a large number of free seeds to increase activity and seed conservation. In fact, if you read the rules patiently and devote energy to research, it is very easy to survive in Seal. We do not want you to lose the fun of exploration by making it blindly free. What we need are high-quality Pters who are patient and willing to invest energy (I think Everyone who can see this, you must be!). As an insider, "I am for everyone and everyone is for me" is the most important quality.

Fortunately, as a Gazelle community, co-construction has always been what we advocate, and we can make it better together, so this time we will recruit the official species protection team . If you have free hard disks and free bandwidth, Do you want to try it? (Some people may ask, what is the guarantee if there is no official organization? My answer is to guarantee what you like best . I believe that the higher the quality of the seeds, the more people will guarantee the seeds, so these seeds are what sites and users need most. It is also the most worthy of our investment.)


Everyone will say that Seal needs to be seeded. Yes, we highly encourage you to do so, because seeding will be very helpful for you to understand various knowledge in the audio and video field. If you are still a novice who only knows how to download, this will Open the door to a new world for you. For many people, it is a bit overwhelming when they first come into contact with so many rules. They may not understand why FaZhong has to fill in so much content, and they are always in a state of knowing what is happening but not knowing why. So now there is an opportunity. At this moment, we have officially started the recruitment of the official release team .

Seal's goal has always been to build the best film warehouse, but with the current richness and quality of films, it is far from enough. There are many excellent official and personal publishing groups at home and abroad, and we hope that they can have a place in Seals. Well, we hope that the release team can bring more high-quality films to Seal and the majority of movie lovers!


We have also observed that nowadays the speed of inspection cannot keep up with the speed of release, and TI is under great pressure. So on the one hand, we are still vigorously recruiting TIs. On the other hand, with this seed distribution and the establishment of the seed protection team, we will greatly improve the treatment of TIs.

Slot expansion
As the site developed, we found that the current slot system was not enough to cope with the subsequent resource distribution, so we made the following adjustments:
Web slot : With the rise of the Internet, there are more and more Web content resources, which has had a greater impact on the original disk resources. For many movies, Dolby Vision only has a Web version, and the original disk only has an HDR version (both Many people have compared the pros and cons of Web resources online, but this is not the point). As a source of content, the quality and quantity of the Web cannot be ignored, so we have added two new slots for Web resources, respectively. They are: Web DoVi slot, for web content using Profile 5 Dolby Vision ; Web SDR slot, for web content using SDR.
Remux slot : Since special effects subtitles, Mandarin dubbing and other content are very popular in China, we believe that featured content in Remux resources should also have a place, similar to DIY and disk slots, the relationship between features and suppression slots , so the original The Remux slot will be used as a Remux quality slot, and a new Remux feature slot will be added, focusing on domestic featured content.
Hi10p slot : Due to the wide application of 264 10bit SDR in the animation field, we will open a separate anime Hi10p slot for it .
