Bit-HDTV : News
Site is under an extensive ddos attack.
The site is under attack since 13.08, raising our request from 2 million to 15-20 million a day (combined).
We noticed the issue only on early 19.08 because the site was not affected due the extra load. A good thing for us that the server is powerful enough to sustains such loads.
As far as seen from our logs and Cloudflare’s only the main site www.bit-hdtv.com is targeted, the API and tracker are under normal load.
The attack is concentrated to the root path eg: https://www.bit-hdtv.com/ and not multiple pages.
We took action and set a non-interactive challenge or a CAPTCHA challenge to the client to all requests that comes from following countries: (will be updated depending of the attack vector)
South Korea
China
United States
Hong Kong
Taiwan
New Zealand
Rusia
Australia
Japan
Slovakia
Sweden
Canada
India
Also we think about our users using automatization and we only set for the root path "/" to be presented a challenge. So usually going directly to /torrents.php, /rss.php is not blocked
Users you have automation ( scrapers, sonarr, radarr, prowlarr, jackett , autodl-irssi, medusa, etc) might be affected since the bots might be presented with a challenge. So please check if you setup is still working.
