An AHD mod, regarding the recent downtine, has mentioned that there is a hardware failure and it could take a few days for things to get back to normal.

Update:

"It's not a hardware failure. We are moving some stuff around to try and help with some of the issues we have had over the past few months. It will likely be down for a day or two more depending on a few things"
