Rule Change Regarding Profile Pictures and User Icon Content
Dear community,
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a welcoming and friendly environment for all users, we want to address an important aspect of our culture — the use of profile pictures and custom user icons.
In order to promote peace, inclusivity, and a sense of community among our members, we are now implementing a new account rule: The use of country flags, religious symbols, and any national symbols as profile pictures or custom user icons is prohibited.
Why this change?
We are a diverse community where individuals from all backgrounds come together to share ideas and engage in our chat or forum. By limiting the use of certain symbols, we aim to create a space where everyone feels equally represented and respected. Symbols can carry different meanings and significance to different individuals. In a global community, what may seem like a harmless image to one person could be offensive to another. We want to minimize misunderstandings and disagreements that might arise from the use of such symbols.
What does this mean for you?
Please take a moment to review your current profile pictures and custom user icons. If your image features any country flags, religious symbols, or national symbols, we kindly ask that you change it to something that aligns with our account rules.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to make our community a better place for everyone. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this new guideline, please feel free to reach out to us.
Thank you for being a valued member of our community!
