In my opinion 1mbps upload stream is enough. for tracker like...IPT. You can get invite and build some good buffer over time.

My upload speed now is 0,81 mbs (due to speedtest.net).
It is too(!) low
I try to keep ratio on >7 trackers, so my upload speed for every tracker is ~15 kbs.
This is very low, so I need buffered account much <3
