If the invite is unused it will generally be credited back to your account after a few days.

That's what I was going to say! Invites usually have an expiry date. In this case, the invite has a 5 day life: IPTorrents Invite (Imgur).

I have no way to be sure, but it seems logical to me that the system would return the invite unit to the sender once it has expired. Let's hope it works out and the invite gets re-credited to @PleaseNoCheat so someone can make good use of it.
