@jimmy7 It seems interest has died down in this GA. Would it be alright to close it for the time being and reopen it at a later point with more invites?

I think it would be best to keep it open. Sooner or later the right applicants will come asking for your invites. It's the end of August, so I suppose that slowly interest in these invites will rise up again in the next days.
