Using Aegisub


Step 1: Load Aegisub and then drag and drop your ASS/SSA file onto the window.

Step 2: Go to File > Export Subtitles.

Step 3: In the export box, leave everything default (no checked boxes and text encoding set to UTF-8). Click Export..., chose a save path and then save as filename.srt.

Using SAConv


Step 1: Open up commandline.

SAConv syntax wrote:

SAConv path\to\subtitle.ass srt



Example: E:\SAConv-1.2.0.0\SAConv.exe E:\Delicatessen.1991.720p.BluRay.DTS.x264-ESiR_Track4_english.ass srt

The resulting SRT will be saved in the same folder as your ASS/SSA file.
