Because, as an Moderator and above you can search a user by its upload/download stats or by his ratio, on some sites even by its bonus points if you know the exact value at that moment. If you give a screenshot of your stats on site to an Admin of that site, asking for invites on other site and you Photoshoped your photo, he can see that which will result in you don't getting that invite. Like this you protect yourself.
