How To Attach Subtitles to a Movie File
[Thread moved from General PC Chat and Help]
Note: only for movie files that end with *.AVI extension.
AviSub is a great tool that can mux up to three [srt/sub/txt(microdvd) or vobsubs] subtitle streams on an avi file. It's very easy to use: you just load the *.avi file, load the subtitles, and click ''generate''. It Generates a *.divx file with embed xsubs from an regular avi and the operation takes only 5 minutes !!! That way, i burn up to 6 movies with subtitles on one DVD-R disc and watch them on my DVD
. You can do the same provided that your dvd can read *.divx files and most dvd's do.
